This motel is very clean. I felt it was cleaner then most large chains I have stayed at. The owner is very friendly and went out of his way more then once to make us feel welcomed. This is a great place to stay if you find yourself in Beresford for the night!

We, at John's Motel pride ourselves on a family type service. Dollard has been in this business since it was built and he is very concerned for his guests. We thank you, our satisfied customers for your support and we hope that you will return. We rely on word of mouth to keep our business going. Thanks for your positive... More

I absolutely loved John's Motel: John himself was extremely friendly, the place is so clean you feel like you could eat off the floor and the decor is great! I love the fact that everything has been kept and really well tended to and has not been exchanged for the latest fad. Please keep it like that!

I deceided to stay here because of trip advisor ratings. I have stayed in larger chain hotels in the Bathurst area in the past. I am very pleased with the accomodations here. Dollard is very friendly and helpful. The room is great. I have one with a kitchenette that is well equpped including dishes pots pans toaster coffee maker kettle... More

At this motel you get more than what you pay for, making it the best deal in Bathurst. For $62, you get a clean room, high speed internet (not wireless), and courteous service. I gave it a good rating in that it is truly a bargain. But one must also be ready for a very firm mattress, and no shampoo... More

Nice clean room. Owner's really helpful, friendly and knows a lot about the area. And the heated pool is a plus. Dollard makes us feel like home, asking us many times if everything was okay. We'll definitively go back there on our next visit!

A bargain - John's son gave us a room with an extra kitchen and didn't charge us so we were able to buy vegan food at the local Sobey's and have a very inexpensive day on the road. If you want, you can also swim in the motel pool. The owner does not use a computer and did not know... More

This place is immaculately clean, has modern bathrooms, and they put the sheets out on the clothes line! I felt like I was at home. It is a great place, and it is much cheaper than the other places in Bathurst. The owner couldn\t do enough for us. He even drove us to the mall when our car was in... More

I am of Acadian descent and we travelled up this way to find out more about our roots. We tried the internet and the only places here were very expensive. We are from the United States and I don't understand why this place is rated so low! The owner couldn't do enough for us. It is a great little place... More

First do not get confused on the address. The owner can explain, the facility is on St Peters. We had missed the ferry to go over to NL, when we discussed this with Dollard he leaped into action! He called his local travel agencyCarlson Wagonlit Harveys Travel (Wayne) and within 10 minutes we had hotel, flight, car booked to fly out of... More

The owners make you feel very welcome! The motel rooms are small and a bit outdated but are kept very very clean. They also have a huge flat screen TV, very good value for your money.
