Our room was dated but adequate. You could see that the exterior of the building was becoming shabby. Reception was friendly and coffee was available in the lobby for a modest fee. The place was clean but could really use some updating. However, it was fine for a one night stay.

Willy at the Bristol Hotel really helped us out when we arrived at the airport and were in Wawa for 2 days with bad weather. The hotel is nothing posh, but all our needs were met and it was very reasonable. Would stay there again.

We were flying from Winnipeg and the weather didn't look great so we landed to wait out the weather and stayed at the Bristol. They were so kind and hospitable. Will came to pick us up at the airport and Bonnie even drove us to the laundromat the next day. Clean and comfortable bed. Nice big TV and central air. Walking distance to all amenities. Thanks so much to Willy and Bonnie.

Returned to Wawa late on a Saturday night because fog delayed leaving fish camp. Staff was very accommodating to find a room for 3 tired guys. Place is not a Hilton, Holiday Inn or Red Roof. What it is, is clean, comfortable and friendly. Granted it is showing it’s age and requires some TLC, but that did not interrupt my sleeping.

I was driving west and stopped for the night. once you check in its kind of self serve. The front desk has phone you pick up and someone will answer to help you. Small older room it was kind of noisy with the ice machine in the hallway and quite hot in the room but it had no thermostat and I had to call to get the heat turned down somewhere else in the building....weird. Place was a mismatch of furniture and remodeling but it was fairly clean and ok for 1 night. Small bathroom old mattress but did the job.

Don’t stay here. Owner is crooked. Place is a dive. One night is all I would stay if every other place in wawa is booked! Needed to cancel a night as we had vehicle issues . He wouldn’t deal and charged us for 3 rooms. Skip this place.

Response from Bonnie S, Manager at Bristol Motel
Responded Mar 12, 2019
I have answered you on messenger but you continue to smear me. You know you arrived and lied about broken sleds and had to go back to Dubreuilville but all the sleds were here. My husband offered to help you get parts etc. but you did not know what parts you needed? Then you said you were going to Hearst. Needed gas you went down the road and went to the Wawa Motor in where my husband seen you and told you it was past noon cancellation time and he was going to charge you for the rooms. You knew the policy when you booked. If you had not lied my husband was not going to charge you. But liers always lose. Just let the truth you needed a bar.

We stayed there in July 2018 and it was perfect for a motorcycle traveller. Ask for a lower floor and you can park your bike outside of your window. A good restaurant is a very short walk away so you don't have to remount to get something to eat. The rooms are comfortable and the owners friendly.

During our drive across Canada, we broke down and had to stay in this beautiful little town. We were fortunate enough to have the Bristol recommended to us and we stayed for two days. This hotel is not fancy, the price is great and it is very clean. The owners are down to earth lovely people who go above and beyond to ensure your stay is as comfortable as possible. When we called from the garage to book a room, and asked for the number of the local cab company, he came to pick us up instead! When our vehicle was ready the next day, he drove us to the Garage again. These days with big hotel chains, and an interest in money before customer satisfaction, it was a refreshing change to stay at this quaint, rustic, and charming establishment, where customer satisfaction and comfort come first! Will definitely come back, if just to sit down for a coffee and a chat with this lovely couple. Thanks so much.

Left Ontario in the morning and stopped in Wawa ON on the first night of my trip across Canada The Bristol is a small little motel but clean and the owners were very accommodating. Even let me put my cooler packs in their freezer to freeze for the next day. Common spaces include microwaves, kettle etc Not much to do in the area but I just needed a place to sleep. Fridge in the room was large and kept all my things that needed to be nicely chilled. Tim Hortons not to far away so I was able to get recharged before I headed out the next day. The motel also provided coffee and muffins in the am. Great little place to take a load off without many frills but all the necessities.
