We were recommended this B&B by my sister and boy, did we enjoy it! We had a great stay at 4 Beaches B&B. Alison and Pat are warm, helpful hosts who made us feel right at home. Besides the homey environment, the breakfast was exceptional! We wish we were back there, enjoying Pat's great cooking and homemade jams while watching hummingbirds flutter around the feeder. The location of 4 Beaches was also conveniently located, just a short drive from Central Sooke and popular beaches/trails. We hope to be back again soon!

Alison and Pat are lovely hosts and we enjoyed a large, comfortable room with fabulous breakfasts during our stay. The views over to the US Olympic range, especially the sunrise, were memorable. Genuinely this was nicest B&B we’ve ever stayed in!

This place is 5 star all the way. From the initial lovely welcome, the super clean and comfortable room ( two best sleeps we’ve had on Vancouver Island) quiet environment, easy access to a multitude of restaurants around the area, and finally, the gourmet breakfast that was simply stunning. Everything has been thought of. Alison and Pat also gave us some great local advice about hiking in the area. So glad we stayed there. It’s the perfect launchpad to explore that part of the coast. Brilliant.

Thank you to our wonderful hosts, Pat and Allison! So, glad we decided to stay for five nights. The B&B was extremely clean, the sheets were super soft, the breakfasts were amazing and the price was very reasonable. We enjoyed seeing the bunnies hoping around lawn, the hummingbirds darting back and forth and the doe & spotted fawn, who came by while we were in the hot tub. There was a wide variety of trails close by, from very challenging to flat & wide paths. We saw some sea lions, seals and otters. Beacon Hill Park was beautiful with peacocks ambling around amongst the flowerbeds and ponds. Butchart gardens was breathtaking and they had live music in the evening (sorry we missed the fireworks). We spent an evening at the local Farmers market/museum in Sooke. If you want a nice treat, stop for afternoon tea at one of the tea rooms at Butchart gardens, Government House, Abkhazi Gardens or Shirley Delectables.

Such a cozy at home feel. Rooms are spacious, love having my own bathroom/shower. The fact that they only book two rooms makes it feel more comfortable and private. The added bonus of a hot tub at the end of the day is so amazing. The owners are very personable, have great suggestions for day activities to meet all interest. However what makes this place the cherry on top is the AMAZING, gourma breakfast served daily which sets you up for the day. So sooo good. We had Waffles, fresh fruit, tasty homemade jams, granola parfait, Eggs benedict with ham, fresh herbs etc etc. this is just a glimpse of two breakfasts we had. Lets not forget the nicely baked pastries at every breakfast. Really one of the best B&B's i have ever been to. This is my second visit and it continues to be my #1 spot. Locations is central to all my favorite hikes down the San De Fuca trail and other. Also minutes away to all amenities needed. The view of the ocean when we are eating breakfast is just lovely. We have enjoyed nice sunsets and met lovely ladies by the private beach across the road for a full moon ... (if you are reading this thanks for a memorable evening:)

The b&b is very nicely located to be able to visit the many interesting sights, beaches, trails of the area and Alison is always ready to provide with advice and hints to make the most of your holiday. We stayed only 2 nights but had much more to explore! The rooms are comfortable and cozy, the common room gave us space as a family to relax in the evening all together and the hot tub was a welcome addition after the dip in the ocean! Pat’s breakfast was legendary and it changes every day, plus he took care not to let our teen boys go hungry. A lovely break!

With beautiful views over the Straits of Juan de Fuca and just a short distance from the center of Sooke, this B&B is perfectly located for a relaxing, comfortable stay in a lovely area of Vancouver Island. The hosts are delightful, and their breakfasts are superb. Pat Hogan is a professional chef, and the quality of the breakfast offerings - locally sourced foods and specialties such as home-smoked bacon - are what one would expect at a five star hotel. The guest rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the lounge for guests is large with comfortable seating, books to read, a fireplace for chilly days and much more.

We had a wonderful stay at 4 Beaches B& B. Pat and Allison are the consummate hosts and made our stay very relaxing. The room was well appointed and spacious. The breakfast they serve is top notch. Chef Pat serves us a tasty medley of creative treats; he even makes his own bacon for crying out loud! The B&B is conveniently located for access to beach walks up the Coast or local strolls in Sooke, BC. We highly recommend staying here for anyone exploring Vancouver Island's west coast.
