Brigantine Inn occupies one of the waterfront buildings that stretches up the steep hillside across from the harbor in the historic center of Lunenburg. Approached from the road above the waterfront, the Inn looks unappealing. But what a surprise it was when we got to our room. We were assigned 'The Bluenose Room', on the third floor ( one flight... We stayed in the annex (room 8) to brigantine inn, which is essentially like renting your own house in the middle of the town. Located one block from the water front the views were amazing and having a whole house (two bedrooms, 1 bath, a living room/kitchen) to yourself at the price and convenience of staying at a hotel was... We just spent 2 fabulous nights at this incredible Inn. We have travelled extensively and, without a doubt, the Brigantine Inn rates top-of-the-list for accommodations, service, cleanliness, and incredible view of the harbour. We were lucky enough to stay in the room with our own private balcony overlooking the harbour. Our room was outstanding...clean, spacious, well-equipped and extremely comfortable. The... More

We stayed in the Romance Suite and the room had a beautiful view. The private spa tub over looking the harbour was amazind. The Grandbanker pub that's located in the lower level of the Inn was absolutely delightful. The meal and services was fantastic. There were two issues that kept me from rating this excellent. There was zero soundproofing between... More

We stayed in the Rose Suite at the Brigantine for two nights. The Inn is centrally located, so we were in the middle of all of the town center activities. Although the daytime temps were quite high, the nights cooled nicely, so we slept with the windows open to enjoy the sea breeze and the town noises. The room overlooked... More

we loved the location of this inn. Had a stight problem with the electrical.seems it did not like the coffee pot and iron plugged in at the same time but they were quick to fix that. We had the Picton castle so had our own balcony which was very nice in the evenings. There is a restaraunt that looks into... More

This place of this atractive town.is ideally situated on the seafront of this attractive town. It's a small place, carved out of one of the old-fashioned houses that adorn the harbour. My room was perhaps on the small side compared to modern styles, but perfectly clean & comfortable. All the usual facilites provided, including free wifi & en suite BR.... More

There are actually two buildings associated with the Brigantine, the Inn and the Suites. Both are located on the same road, one block apart. We stayed in room 10 of the Suites and were very pleased. The one bedroom suite had a king sized bed and was bright with 4 large windows, one overlooking the harbor front at Lunenburg. The... More
