We were three couples and we almost filled the place so maybe that contributed to our feeling so "at home" but I think it may have been more the graciousness of our hosts, the comfortable sleep, and the terrific breakfast! We appreciated that Neil and Catherine had no trouble finding us indoor storage for our bikes.

This was an over night stop on our B.C. road trip and I cannot fault it. Neil & Catherine obvisously love what they are doing. They have created a Zen-like environment; a perfect location to un-clutter your travels. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, the proximity to the artisans and ferry and the hospitality of our hosts. We would most definitely recommend this spot to all!

This was our first time visiting Crawford Bay, the Deer Ridge lodge is in a perfect location within walking distance of all the craft shops. Neil and Catherine are really friendly and make you feel at home.
