If you want to stay somewhere special then Los Hermanos is the place. This stay in Gibara which is a delightful place was one of the unexpected highlights of our 7 week trip to Cuba. The casa is very beautiful, the service is second to none and the food some of the best seafood we have ever eaten add to all... More

We spent 4 relaxing days in Gibara at Hostal Los Hermanos with excellent food and being on the sea fresh seafood including shark and marlin. We were in the upstairs room at the back with a small terrace where we enjoyed the view and sea breeze and the resident bird. The name should be changed to Hostal Las Hermanas as... More

We stayed three nights in this beautiful casa and were made very welcome by the family. The food was good particularly the fresh fish caught each day. There are bikes to explore the town and along the wild coast. The cave visit is worthwhile and can be organised through the Natural History museum.

We really enjoyed our one day stay in this hostal. The rooms and the house were beautiful. The food was good. While we were there we needed to go to Santiago which suffered the damage from a hurrican. The situation was somewhat confusing and the wonderful ladies at Los Hermanos were extremely helpful in making sure everyhting will go smoothly... More

Four of us spent 7 days in this wonderful Casa. The family could not have been more hospitable, rooms were clean, comfortable and airy, and the food was magnificent. Mountains of fresh fruit for breakfast, with eggs, pastries, freshly-made juice, and plentiful tea and coffee – so much so that we gave up having lunch. In the evenings, a choice... More

I believe this was the best food we had in Cuba. The family was extremely friendly and the food was fresh. We actually came here twice. I had the frituras de malanga, fish cocktail and seafood bisque.

Spent two nights at this casa in mid-April. The house is spacious, cool (didn't need to turn the a/c on at all, a fan was sufficient), nicely decorated and has a lot of character. Bed was comfortable and room had an en-suite washroom with shower (hot water). Ate two dinners and one breakfast, and the food was great and plentiful!

I was taken to Los Hermanos by my ever friendly Cuba taxi driver on a day trip to Gibara. Myself and my companion both ordered chicken for our lunch. We invited our taxi driver to eat with us and he ordered some platanos fritos, this is a must have at any Cuban restaurant, fried bananas! They were a delicious appetizer... More
