I booked a 3pm til 6pm fishing trip. I paid $300 was asked to be there at 2pm. By 3.25pm i was still waiting. I was told i would not go out for another 15 minutes. I asked for my money back and from 6 staff behind a disorganised desk, I had 1 very weak apology. This is a money... More

My closest friends surprised me with a two-night fishing trip at Canadian Princess this July as my bachelor party. At first thought one might think Uccluelet will not offer that much in terms of scenery for the typical bachelor party, but this is exactly why I loved this trip. We stayed at the bigger rooms, 5 in each and with... More

I've come here for the past three years for a weekend fishing trip. This place offers good value for the budget-minded fishermen BUT you really need to know what to expect. First off, this place is more like a fishing camp, not a resort. The property was probably built in the 70's or early 80's and it's tired - its... More

My wife and I have been coming to Ucluelet for many years. We had a very pleasant and uncrowded crossing aboard the BC Ferry from Horseshoe Bay to Departure Bay on Labour Day, and arrived in Ucluelet after a leisurely 2.5-hour drive with almost no traffic on the twisty Highway 4. Labour Day and after is a great time to... More

I brought my daughter to experience Ucluelet which is a little hamlet on its own. If you looking for value, the Canadian Princess Resort has it! This resort is primarily centered around fishing, though it's still good value vs. some of the over-priced B&Bs in the area. The under $600.00 for two night's accommodation, two breakfasts and the 7 hour... More

We booked the trip including airfare from Vancouver... roughly $520 per person. We had 2 loft shore rooms which was fine for our group. Everything was comfortable and clean but a little dated. We had to get up by 5 in the morning which might create a noise problem for the non-fishing guests. The great news is we had 2... More

My nephew and I had a 2 BR, with 2 queen beds on the main floor and 2 twins in the roomy loft. The main floor also had a balcony with chairs and from it was a nice sideways view of the nearby marina. It was clean and relatively new. For $129 (in high season), breakfast was included. The room... More

They changed our bokking of the captain's cabin because it would have been far to small for the 3 of us. We had a look inside and were a bit shocked. It is defintely too smallfor 3, at least 2 will feel comfortable. But the cabin is very rusty and not in good shape. Only the bed looked nice, the... More

The managemnet of this hotel is very money minded. Ofcourse thats good in a comercial world but you should get some kind of a price quality rate! In this case this is totaly not the fact. The rooms are without a fridge, all the interiour is outdated and you have to pull some tricks to close the bathroomdoor(slide). The TV... More
