The hotel is behind an old gas station, so it's hard to see from the road. It has small suites with kitchenette and nice IKEA decoration. It's very clean, new and quiet. Nice washrooms. Bose sound systems to plug your Ipod, fireplace and hardwood floors complete the decor.

Getting into Watson Lake the expectations are pretty low but the actual rooms and hotel was very cozy and welcoming. It was a very nice surprise, clean, nicely decorated and inviting. Looking at the outside you would not expect a quaint styled room. Nice surprise.

Arriving in Watson Lake, expectations are not high! And when you check in at the gas station, you get a little nervous! But the motel is indeed "very nice" and a wonderful surprise! The room was a charming, homey pleasure. Nicely appointed kitchenette, very comfortable bed, even a Bose IPod docking station!

Clean, modern, friendly, great place to stay. But book early and plan ahead as they regularly fill up weeks in advance during holidays season. The rooms and king size beds are very "nice". Pricey but given the other options in the community worth the expense. Registration in the PetroCan service station is probably convenient for the owner but doesn't make for a good first impression. Nonetheless, the friendly northern hospitality and pleasant rooms make up for the rough-around-the-edges check-in setting.
