There are literally thousands of Camp Homewood "fans" so it is too bad that there is such a negative review posted on this site. It goes without saying that this camp exists to teach kids from
all walks of life about the love of God but it is not the norm to state that religion is shoved down kids' throats....

our kids went to Camp Homewood in Grade 6 for a weekend retreat with the school.
Had a great time, no religion teaching (not that that would be a problem)
so, we sent them for a week.

Camp Homewood strives to be a fun and safe place where people of all ages can come and enjoy the beauty that God has blessed us with here. Our mission statement reads that we are here to....."present the Love of God and the claims of Christ.........in an unthreatening atmosphere...."
As a camp director I discourage discussions and speculations of hell...
