The beds are comfortable, the common area is huge, including a pool table, shuffleboard, a big flat screen tv and a wide selection of dvds... The staff is very friendly and helpful....they picked me up from the ferry and i was able to work for my... More

I stayed at the hostel in the winter. I would recommend this hostel since they have nice, clean and spacious rooms. I appreciated the Christmas cactus plant in the private room and good mattress. We slept well. Washrooms are very clean and clearly marked male/female. Owners seem like they are honest and have integrity. It's very quiet at the time... More

We had made a reservation two weeks early but the owners still managed to forget that we were coming in despite the fact that we were the only travelers staying at the hostel. The hostel is used as a permanent residence by some locals whom occupy the common areas. As far as cleanliness, we avoided to use the kitchen during... More

Got to Port Hardy late a night (ferry from Prince Rupert). We had a room booked in Anne's B&B and had a fantastic stay. Wonderful room with ocean view, had such a good sleep after the long ferry ride. After breakfast we stopped for a visit at the Hostel's coffee shop. Can only recommend this place. Excellent value for your... More

We had a private room, the bed was comfy, and the host was very helpful with suggestions of what to do, and getting up early to get us coffee and get our keys before the early ferry. However the part of the hostel we stayed in seemed unfinished - fabric for our curtains, no lock on the bathroom, personal items... More

We stayed at the North Coast Trail Hostel for almost a week to see Port Hardy and do some hiking. The hostel is very clean with everything you need for a few days out in the beautiful nature of British Columbia's coast. We bought our food in the nearby mall (in fact, everything is nearby in Port Hardy) and stored... More

Stayed here end of July... Positives: Great location -close to waterfront, local shops etc. Good price. All rooms were very clean. Modern kitchen and bathroom. Very quiet. Negatives: We had a private room shared bathroom which was in a separate building next to main hostel. So we didn't feel like we were part of the place, quite isolated. The room... More
