Very tired hotel ,dirty carpets noise in corridors no bar restaurant after 9 o'clock despite ferry docking at ten thirty.i should use only as last resort. Old CRT televisions no hair dryers, smells of stale smoke and damp.

Similar to other reviews, the only reason to stay here is convenience to the ferry. I was really worried when we walked into the one story concrete block building, but it was clean enough. Noisy neighbors at 2 am, yelling in the halls, were not appreciated but there was no one at the front desk to deal with it for... More

I knew what it would be like from the other reviews but it did turn out to be OK for just an overnight. There is not alot of choice in Port Hardy when you get off the ferry at 10:30 PM and don't want to search for B & B's in the dark. There is basically no lobby--just a huge... More

This motel is easy to get to from the BC Ferry and if you arrive in at 10:30 at night in pitch darkness and you need a place to stay, this place will suffice. I was very leery after reading reviews of this motel, but once inside...and past the first smelly hallway, we found a very large, clean room. Yes,... More

As others have rightly commented, this 'hostel' really smells, but now of an unpleasant shake and vac extreme overload. This is honestly the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. What's most annoying is this guy (yes, he was still grumpy and not enthralled to see his paying guests) doesn't have to worry as he has rooms in a port... More

Hotel is badly in need of an update, but the bathroom and beds were clean, we didn't experience any undue noise from inside or outside. Helpful check-in guy. Also has a on-site restaurant, fair value for money.

Bad bad bad. If only a photo could show just how bad the bed was. not to mention the pillows and stinky carpet. The glen lion and quarterdeck looked nicer

The hotel was booked as part of a tour, to have a place to sleep after the Inside Passsage trip from Prince Rubert. We thus arrived very late, and was sorry to see that two tour busses had arrived just ahead of us. But amazingly everybody got their room within 5 minutes. The staff knew how to handle that. The... As with other contributors we had booked this inn as there is very little choice in Port Hardy. We arrived at midnight following our ferry journey from Prince Rupert and left relatively early the next morning. Check in was very quick even though there were many cars and a coach arrived from the ferry The room was dated but clean... More
