My husband and I stayed at the guesthouse last Saturday night, we had a great look around the mountains and arrived in the early afternoon we were greeted, given a tour of the guesthouse and then shown to our room, yes the rooms are small but why would you spend time sitting in your room when the guesthouse has several... After unsuccessfully searching high and low for on-mountain accommodation at the eleventh hour my partner and I booked a two-night package at Crackenback Farm with a bit of trepidation after reading some fairly scathing reviews on Tripadvisor. Our concerns were allayed as soon as we arrived; the guesthouse was very inviting, the rooms cosy and perfectly adequate for a short... More

Crackenback farm is in a lovely, quiet location, perfect for a relaxing holiday. The hotel is warm and inviting, with electric blankets on the bed, a cosy lounge area, full-sized billiard table and honour-system bar. There are enough shared spaces to have privacy if you wish. There is a drying room for ski gear. The service is impeccable - the... More

We absolutely loved Crackenback Farm. We were looking for somewhere to stay that was quiet and romantic to spoil ourselves for the long weekend and Crackenback Farm ticked all the boxes. We were very well looked after by the friendly staff, the meals were amazing, the room was very comfortable, clean and tidy - our whole experience was just an... More

My wife and I love farms and snow skiing and Crackenback Farm was the ideal place. Very friendly service from our arrival to departure. We loved being able to ski for the day and come back to a great little warmed swimming pool and then relax in the bar/lounge area along side a cosy fireplace. Food was top class, slept... More

Stairs (basically a ladder) were on extreme angle with no rail. Milk that's was in the room had lumps in it! And when we informed them, no apology or anything. $45 for dinner - which I thought was a bit rich Afternoon tea was a couple biscuits from an arnotts pack and a tiny piece of cake Breakfast and location... We recently stayed for one night in a loft room with our two children aged 7 and 9. It was perfect. The rooms are quite small but storage is thoughtful and our bathroom was large. It was clean and bed was very comfy. The guesthouse has loads of character and the service is very genuine. We had dinner in and... More

Dear Lucy J, Thanks so much for writing about your August stay at the Farm, we appreciate hearing your feedback and that you had a wonderful experience and plan to return.
