It was a really nice place to stay and the people there were very friendly but we were promised WiFi which didn't work because we were in the top part of the hotel which was the only downside to our stay.

The Malago B and B was fairly basic, but clean and good value for money in Bristol, which tends to be expensive for accommodation. We enjoyed the breakfast which was self service and included fresh fruits, pastries, cereals, toast and a good selection of hot drinks including real coffee. Omelettes were also available to order. Staff were friendly and we were happy enough with our stay.

We spent 2 nights in Bristol with french friends. The Malago is a budget hotel, situated on a main road. There have been comments about parking, it is tight but we were able to park the hire car with no problem. The staff were good. We were getting a coach to London very early the next morning before breakfast had started and on the first evening the duty manager sorted out for us to take breakfast items to our room. The rooms were good, en suite was fine, lack of aircon was not great as it was hot. We had the window open and there was a fan in the room which helped. Breakfast on our second morning was excellent, plenty of choice of cereal, fruit toast etc. Also the staff cooked omelettes to order which were very tasty. WiFi worked fine on ground and first floors, not so good on second floor where we were. Overall a great place to stop over on a budget.

My parents and I stayed here overnight after my graduation ceremony. We arrived slightly earlier than the check in time, but the staff were very friendly and accommodating and let us park our car in the car park early. They also called us a taxi to take us back into town. When we did check in we were very pleasantly surprised with how lovely our room was. It was absolutely spotless. The beds were extremely comfortable, which was perfect after our long and tiring day. I had a very nice nights sleep. Breakfast in the morning was lovely, with a wide selection of things to choose from. The continental breakfast is something I personally really enjoy. The lady who was working that morning was very lovely and polite. There are also lots of shops, pubs and bars very close by, which makes snack buying in the evening easy. We had a drink in the pub on the same road and was very surprised by how cheap it was (being from London I suppose anything is cheap though). Overall it was a very nice stay! Definitely good for how cheap it was too. We would definitely return if an overnight stay was ever needed, and I would recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in Bristol and doesn't want to spend a large amount of money.

Stayed here last weekend with my boyfriend. We arrived an hour early for check-in, but the room was ready for us. We had a double room, with a double bed and shower/bath ensuite. The rooms aren't generous in size, but they aren't too small either. The room was clean, other than the brown poo-like stained mark on the bed-sheet (which I did not see until the late evening when we were going to bed). We took the sheet off, as we weren't too keen on the look of it. Other than that, the bed was ridiculously comfy. The B&B itself is about 15/16 mins drive away from Bristol city centre, and we used an Uber to get there on the friday night, which cost about £8. It is on a main road but you don't hear any cars. If you were to drive down the road, it doesnt look the nicest, however the B&B is one of the nicest buildings on the road. There is free parking, however there are not many spaces and it is a tight squeeze to reverse into some of the spaces because of the pillars/bollards. The breakfast ends at 10am on saturday and you have to be checked out by 11am. The breakfast consisted of toast, cereals, scrambled eggs, pastries, biscuits, and tea/coffee. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, and would stay again if we were to stay in Bristol and wanted a cheap deal. Hopefully not everyone gets a stain on their bed sheets.

Have stayed before and always happy with the facilities. This time on going for breakfast was asked to pay additional amount for it! I always thought a B&B listed place would be inclusive of both B's! No longer the case here, be aware! Shame.

Stayed here for one night on June 10th, upon arriving there is free parking, the front door is looked 24 hours which is good, your key card unlocks it 24 hours so don't worry, there is free wi fi in the rooms and a free pc computer in the lobby, rooms are small but nice and clean bed is small but clean and comfortable, down side to us was the rooms are hot even with the window open, even slept all night with window open wide and because we were in the front room 13 the traffic was loud because the window was open wide,,,, breakfast is nice and plenty full but no full English. fruit, toast, cereal, bread, coffee, tea, ham, cheese, boiled eggs, nice restaurant to the right about 50 yards away called mezzaluna. Nice food there full up lucky we booked a table very nice tasty fresh food, belly dancer come out for 20 mins was a nice touch, b&b for the price good deal, for me 6/10.
