Ideal central location and close to many bars and restaurants, staff were friendly and accommodating, however the heat in the room was unbearable and we had to keep the window open resulting in much noise from cars on the cobbles (quite liked this though!) and the glass from the pub being unceremoniously 'moved' at 7am... I stayed here about 2 years ago and at the time thought it was good enough. But I think it has improved further since that last visit Staff are much more dividers on you as an individual. Excellent value for money when booking off-peak room rates. Helpful and friendly staff. Rooms lovely and clean and well equipped. Good central location. Car parking very expensive, even with discount, £30 for two nights at NCP. Stayed over weekend, disruptive nights sleep due to nightclub in Queen Charlotte St. Breakfast was good value for money. Staff was very friendly, room tidy and warm ;-) the biggest disadvantage of this hotel is the car park which has to be paid separately and cost £16/24h. What seems to be weird as well is window. Clean, tidy with well mannered staff. The hotel is located around the old diocks area, the pubs reflect this. A good variety of them and restaurants make this an ideal hotel for breaks. Well done. More
