All staff welcoming and helpful. OK, rooms need updating but are large and functional. Food fine, bearing in mind they coped with a group of 22. Unless you sleep anywhere, would advise avoiding the rooms overlooking Trumpington Road - noisy and too hot. Despite it being 'degree' weekend, reception managed a room change with a smile!

Yes, the hotel is tired and requires renovation. It is OK because the bedroom was spacious, the bed comfortable, the bathroom functional, the breakfast fine, and there is free wifi. And all the staff were friendly and professional. And there is free car parking. It is tired but OK; it depends on your expectations.

We booked a room and ended up with an basement apartment. It was very hot, tired and the bed was truly agony. The noise from the room above was so loud I could have believed there were several people with wooden legs as every step was a loud thud. The staff were great and location fantastic
