Warm reception. I ordered the picadinho from the Portuguese sub menu which was excellent. Portuguese chef so that helps. I have had the dish in numerous establishments and this was pretty much the best I've had. My partner ordered a chicken dish topped with parma ham, creamed asparagus and grilled cheese which she thoroughly enjoyed. The service was excellent, the... More

My colleague and I stayed the same time as the last review and we were also at the front in room 3 the noise was awful and totally destroyed any possibility of sleep. It was the worst place either of us had ever been to, we were there for work purposes and it was booked short notice by our employers.... More

This hotel needs pulling down - or some serious money spending on it. The portugeuse owner is making money out of people without working for it and doesnt provide a clean place to stay. We stayed at the front of the hotel and out of four nights were woken before seven each day by either someone drilling in the dining... More

It is very very dated everything the avocado bathroom which was well past its day to the formica chest of drawers lined with christmas wrapping paper to the brown frayed carpet - it just... More

we were booked to stay three nights but only stayed one, couldn't leave fast enough. Our room ws number 5 at the back, small, claustrophobic and very shabby, a window that looked out onto an expanse of grey utility buildings and the rather cheap looking floral duvet cover and pillow slips somehow just lacked that fresh feeling that inspires confidence,... My wife and I had visited this hotel many years ago and had always enjoyed the seafood so we thought that we would return again - what a mistake and I also wished that I had read the other eviews before we visited. One of the things that we had always enjoyed about Jersey was the fresh seafood which we... More

Having read the last two reviews we were relieved to know that we were not alone in our experience only wish we had read before we went. The food that was served was disgusting beyond belief and we were appauled at the attitude of the staff when we polietly pointed out that the food was unedible and also had a... More
