We stayed for two nights in Room 2 and found it very comfortable. The room was at the back of the hotel, away from the fairly busy road at the front. As we love to have the windows open when we sleep, this may have been an issue for us if we had been allocated one of the front facing... More

Booked the whole hotel for two nights for family and friends to stay in for our sons wedding at Chester race course, which is a short walk away. The hotel was spotlessly clean and all the rooms are very individual with lovely deep matresses on the beds. The bathrooms are very unique also. From the moment we arrived the owners... More

We wanted to stay close by to Chester races, and this was perfect, literally a few minutes walk. I always try and stay at boutique hotels, preferring them over large chains, as you usually get a more personal experience. Hotel Draginfly was certainly that, from the receptionist guiding us in on the phone as all the roads were closed, to... More

this beautifully decorated hotel is just a few steps away from all the restaurants and bars. We were very warmly welcomed and immediately upgraded to a big wonderful room with a very nice bathroom and felt very spoiled. Breakfast was served in a very extravagant sitting room and the toasts to die for... You get your keys and feel like... More

This is a wonderful place and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the outside, it looks like a nicely renovated townhouse. On the inside, it looks and feels like you are a guest in someone's home, especially as your room key also opens the front door in the evenings. The location is perfect for the racecourse and the shops.... More

The staff could not do enough us, an admirable standard of customer service. As for the hotel itself, we stayed in the suite which had a downstairs living area and upstairs bedroom; both were very comfotable and plesant spaces. Close to the city centre and parking available for a modest fee.

We stayed at Hotel Dragonfly for one night on Saturday 20th April. As a group of 4 we booked the two bedroom suite which was fantastic. Sam and Amy could not do enough for us from the moment we arrived. This hotel exudes class. If you are staying in Chester and want a superbly located hotel, with high quality, beautifully... More

Owners & staff brilliant really helpful and allowed us to upgrade to a bigger room with a huge bath! They also know all the best restaurants in Chester & will book the tables for you - nice touch. Slight downside - parking down the road albeit only £4.50 per night (Chester racecourse) & they need bigger tables for the tea/coffees... More
