Stayed here on a business trip...great for the trains, quirky styling, bar good, food plentiful. Coldest rooms .... No heating on .... My room was fine but colleagues was awful. Stayed at this hotel for the past year whilst working for airbus, rooms are lovely if you get the kings side and the staff are extremely friendly, shame about the very rude and most unhelpful, abrupt manageress. Otherwise full marks.

My wife & I stayed here for Chester races. The hotel is very comfortable - we had a room in the Kings which was great. The staff are ultra helpful and breakfast is a treat. We would definitely recommend this hotel having stayed at a similar style character hotel in Bournemouth 2 weeks ago - this was 10 times better.
