Another lovely stay at Poltair, we stay here every time we visit Falmouth. Malcolm, Anne and the staff are very helpful and cannot do enough to make your stay as pleasurable and relaxing as possible. Nothing is too much trouble. Rooms are very clean and have excellent facilities, definately like a home from home! Plenty of choice at breakfast, the... More

Excellent B&B which the owners run with a real sense of pride, lovely well decorated rooms with clean crisp bedding on comfortable beds. The facilities in the room are excellent, most impressed with the small fridge, fresh milk and nice mugs and breakfast a well deserved ten out of ten. The hotel is in a great position close to Falmouth town... More

Cannot recommend Poltair highly enough, agree with everyone else's comments, wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in Falmouth, it's definately home from home with the added bonus of home made jams, breads, yoghurts etc

My wife and I stay at Poltair every time we visit Falmouth. Everything is positive: the booking/confirmation process; clean, comfortable and well equipped rooms; friendly and truly committed owner and staff; superb breakfast service; plenty of parking outside the property. Highly recommended for hospitality, amenities and locality.

I have stayed at Poltair a number of times. The owner is friendly, and always on hand if needed; rooms are clean & comfortable & breakfast is excellent. Excellent value for money. Poltair is situated about 10 minutes walk from Falmouth centre (once you know the shortcut) and there is plenty of on road parking outside the property. Highly recommended.

Due to attend a wedding in Falmouth in Cornwall's decidedly down season - ie the second of February - we booked a room at Poltair and received a lovely reception, good food and, due to an ongoing refurb, were bumped up a room to a lovely double with a little balcony and a view of the whole bay. Two nights... More

We stayed here in July and despite the English weather enjoyed the accomoation. Short walk into town for meals and sight seeing. Friendly and helpful staff. Loved the home cooked food. We had a lovely room on the second floor with access to the balcony, and ocean views when the weather allowed.

This little hotel is a gem of a find. My 70 year old mum and I opted to stay at this location, B&B for 2 nights, for a wedding. The location of the hotel was a maximum 5 minute walk from the wedding venue. The road was quiet, the views amazing and the welcome perfect. We chose 'Nightengale', the smaller... More

Dear Trip Advisor readers We would like to thank Sonia B for a kind and constructive review. We are pleased that they enjoyed their stay. At the end of every season we plan our 'shopping list' for the next year and new towels are high on the current list as our existing tried and tested towels do need replacing. We... More
