We were given a lovely large room, beautiful décor with a four poster bed which was very comfortable. This is on the ground floor so there are fewer steps, but the rooms above have the better views looking across the estuary. A lot of choice for breakfast and plenty of it - best to be hungry if you opt for... More

Last week I had the delightful experience of 2 blissful days at The Grove Hotel. I would give it 100% on all aspects of highly professional accomodation. As a touring actor, for 14 years , I have laid my head on many a pillow, but seldom been so comfortable and relaxed. From staff, to food, to facilities, it really cannot... More

Lovely hotel, clean, tidy and perfectly located. However this hotels main usp is it's staff, in particular the owners Geoff and Sian whoes 'nothing is too much trouble' attitude is precisely what is missing from most establishments these day. We were there for our daughters wedding in the nearby Maritime Museum and it's fair to say everything possible was done... More

Came down for flying visit with son to attend his interview at Falmouth College. Informal and warm welcome. Settled in lounge to relax after long drive, then stroll around Falmouth and dinner at Rick Stein's opposite. Just what we wanted, made to feel at home.Writing this before the much heralded breakfast in the morning, but can't fault it so far.

Let's be clear, this is NOT a hotel, it IS a B&B! If you look closely at the photo it is plain to see this is a semi-detached Georgian/Victorian house being run as a B&B, therefore for Trip Advisor to be showing this as the number 2 hotel in Falmouth is frankly misleading, ludicrous and an insult to Falmouth, which... We have visited this hotel a couple of times and have always had a good stay. Breakfasts are the best we have had in all the times we have visited Falmouth and thats a fair few over 9 years. Ideally close to town (can be a bit noisy on a Saturday night - but ear plugs sort this out!) and... More

My wife and I stayed here for a night in mid November and had very pleasant stay. As with most places there are positives and negatives. However, at The Grove Hotel the positives definetly far outweighed the negatives (only a couple). Positives: Location - The hotel is located near the harbour and provides an excellent location for walking around town.... More

Stayed here for 10 days whilst working at the shipyard nearby. Firstly, I've got to say that breakfast is excellent, probably the best I've had anywhere in the UK and the staff are very helpful. The location is also very good, right on the edge of town and close to lots of restaurants, Tesco is also opposite. Although there is... More

A welcoming, friendly hotel with very helpful staff. We spent 2 nights at the Grove in a lovely room with an extremely comfortable bed. The bathroom was bright and modern with all the necessary toiletries.Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Very highly recommended.

Just a short 2 night stay, made very pleasant by good quality room and general decor & nice ambiance of hotel generally. Proprietor Geoff very relaxed and aminable with tips for places to visit / eat. Hotel short walk from town centre, approx 5mins. 1 minute from harbour and choice of eating venues. Will visit again.
