This hotel is cheap and cheerful but is perfect for sampling the delights of Newquay. Perfect location and a really nice pub and cliff top terrace. For the money it is a winner and right on the beach. Staff are always friendly and the drinks and food are reasonably priced and enjoyable. The hotel is a nightmare to navigate and... More

Stayed for 3 nights in the hotel, room was clean but dated, not that bothered me. Staff were extremely friendly and happy to chat. I was in room 201 on the top floor a bit of a trek to get there view out of the windows wasnt great (it was the other part of the hotel) but you could hear... More

We stayed for a quick weekend break in one of the budget rooms. The room was fine, bigger than expected and you could see a bit of beach out of the window. The thing that really made the stay was the staff, they were just lovely. They went out of their way for us in many ways, didn't hard sell... More

I booked online so was a bit dubious at the £29 per room rate. It was my fiances 40th and we just wanted a room for the night as we drove around cornwall most of the day. The outside of the hotel could be improved but once inside the receptionist was very welcoming and the hotel was cosy. We went... More

Booked as 60 birthday treat.... how the Internet can deceive!! Kerb appeal was dissapointing, lobby and the honey moon suite reasonable looking but lift and central stairs looked no better than a youth hostel. Left after 10 minutes as you only 60 once and forfietted booking deposit. Very dissapointed. More

Sorry I have only just got around to writing the review! I stayed here with family in October 2011, we had two superior rooms and they were brilliant. The views were captivating and there were chairs close to the windows so you could sit and take it all in. We had a bit of a problem with the wind whistling... More

I booked this hotel for myself, fiance and 2 friends to celebrate my 30th B'day & New Years Eve in Newquay. Having been to Newquay many a time before, this was the 1st time I had even seen the hotel, let alone stayed there, but after this visit, it will be the ONLY place I stay there again!! FANTASTIC! We... More
