ground floor looked very nice, good carpets and all very clean. our room was on the 3rd floor and the carpets were very shabby and in dire need of replacing. the bathroom was tiny and the toilet was against the sink. had to kneel on the toilet to use it. I have just returned from a six day holiday with five other people in my group. We had a really good time staying at the Barrowfeild hotel. After booking our holiday for Oct. we went on the internet to see the awful reviews for the Barrowfield Hotel. If we had seen these before hand we would never have booked this hotel.
