We stayed here during the St Mawes Classic Car Festival and it really could not have been better. Although the owners were busy organising the Festival, they still had time to attend to their guests and make us comfortable. The rooms are light and airy, with comfortable beds and all of the luxury amenities. Breakfast was (if you availed yourself... More

We stayed with my parents at Nearwater over Easter in summers and percuil. We had a very warm welcome and were offered a hot drink and hot cross bun which we had in front of a lovely open fire. This was very welcome as it was bitterly cold outside. The rooms were exceptionally clean. You have use of a pantry... More

We stayed here for one night on a visit to St Mawes. It was a very nice B&B. The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The shower was amazing and the luxury toiletries were really appeciated. Would definitely stay here again!

Stayed here for 4nights in feb whilst working in a neighbouring village. On arrival we were given a warm welcome by Amelia who made us some tea and tea cakes after showing us to our rooms. The rooms were faultless, clean, comfy and spacious. The ensuite also carried the same character, the shower had excellent water pressure. Furthermore, the breakfasts... More

I have stayed at Nearwater a number of times and have always enjoyed my stay. Tim and Amelia make me feel very welcome and Musto, the Dachshund is most charming. Breakfast is a highlight with homemade French toast being a diet-busting holiday treat. The granola is also delicious; check out the recipe on the website. Hope to be back soon.

We stayed 2 nights in September. On arrival we were given a very warm welcome by Amelia who gave a quick tour before taking us to our room – “The Summers”. It was clean, bright and smelled fresh. The en-suite bathroom was clean, the water pressure was excellent, the towels were soft and they were generous with The White Company... More

Stayed at Nearwater this summer and after seeing all the rave reviews, decided to add to it with even more compliments, bar one or two minor details! As commented by many before, the service and welcome offered by the Nearwater team was impeccable - from start to finish. Drinks on arrival, advice and really helpful hints on what to do... More

We stayed for one night in August. It was a lovely b&b that felt more like a boutique hotel. As we arrived there had been a major traffic accident just up the road. Our hosts, whilst hosting victims, the police and other things still managed to give us the warmest welcome considering what was going on. Amazing really. The Percuil... More

Lovely twin room with top quality beds and linen. Bathroom and shower excellent best shower in b&b for a long time. Tim and Amelia were a delight and couldn't do more to help whatever we wanted. Breakfast also excellent. We stayed 2 nights and were well looked after. Would definitely recommend and stay again. Don't hesitate to book this one!

My husband and I had a one night break at Nearwater at the end of May. We were absolutely delighted with our stay. We had a warm welcome and Amelia was very friendly at breakfast and shared her extensive local knowledge. The room was bright (New England Style) with a gorgeously comfortable bed and lovely White Company sheets and smellies.... More
