My husband and I stayed here at the beginning of April on an excellent two night Travelzoo deal - grerat vfm! The hotel is situated only 5 mins walk from the city centre but in a peaceful setting on a Georgian square. There is a public carpark in front of the hotel and the hotel has vouchers for free parking... More

This family-run hotel stands near the centre of Exeter but in a quiet location. Once you've negotiated the one-way system to get there, you use the public car park outside free with a 4pm to 10am pass or it's near Exeter Central station. The welcome was friendly, the rooms clean and comfortable. The evening meal was disappointing, my blinis being... More

I purchased a Travelzoo voucher for a nights stay to include a 3 course al-carte meal for 2 & breakfast for £89 which was amazing & worth every penny. The bedroom was nicely furnished with a massive comfy bed but the bathroom could of done with a bit of TLC as paint was flaking in parts and a few cracks... More

This was a Travelzoo break, and we were delighted with the location of the hotel (a few minutes' walk from the city centre and opposite a car park). The hotel has a parking arrangement with the council, meaning that we got free evening/overnight parking.in the nearby - quiet! - parking lot. We had a good welcome with explanations of everything... We stayed here over the Easter weekend for 1 night with a travelzoo deal and had a great time. Our bedroom was at the back of the hotel and was very warm and quiet. We had an excellent 3 course evening meal and a good breakfast in the restaurant and the staff were all helpful and friendly. We were given... More

Stayed overnight on Travelzoo deal, with an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant. Very friendly staff, and lovely atmosphere. Would definitely return. Particular thanks to Anais for her friendly and charming manner; - good luck on your return to France

We spent two days with the Travelzoo offer and had a great experience staying in this hotel. We travelled by train and it was situated conveniently just down the road from the station. The room was very comfortable once we turned up the radiator valve and drinks and biscuits were a welcome addition. I am not keen on UHT milk... More

Fantastic food. My parents stayed 2 nights on a travel zoo deal. I live in Exeter so I joined them for the evening. The food and service were out of this world. The menu looks pricey to start with but I guaranteee its worth it. Beautifully crafted flavours and an excellent presentation. The serviceis warm and informal but excellent. You... More

We stayed here as a young couple at the begininng of march on a travel zoo deal. We spent the day in Exeter before checking in late afternoon where we were given a parking token for 4-10am the next morning, and were checked in swiftly. We had an upgraded room which was lovely and spacious with a nice bathroom. Nice... More

We stayed for one night on a Travel Zoo offer. Would definitely return as the hotel was well situated, staff friendly and helpful, car park nearby and food in the Olive Tree excellent. As others have said the rooms were a little dated but very comfortable and clean so this didn't matter at all. If you visit we really recommend... More
