I have stayed here many times with my kids for a weekend shopping break when they have their £15 rooms. I have stayed in many Travelodge hotels and this one is practical and well located. Staff are always friendly and willing to help but I have seen them spoken to appallingly by people expecting a luxury hotel and realising on... More

stayed here overnight after going to a gig in town. Really good location as central to the city centre so no need to get taxi's or anything - within walking distance. Rooms were suitable for the one night and the staff were really helpful. Really good if you just need a quick stop over.

For a girls weekend of shopping and nights out this is perfect, the rooms are basic but clean. Staff were friendly, there is noise in this hotel since most people staying are young and using it for its close location to the pubs.

You basically know what to expect from a Travelodge, this one was a little more tired and worn at the edges than the newer ones but still a comfortable affordable stay. It's in a good location in the centre of Plymouth and as we arrived by train it didn't bother us that there was no parking. Because of it's value... More

This place is awful, dirty, shabby, very noisy from people coming home drunk. We paid £45 when we could have stayed on the barbican for £20 more, bearing in mind you have to pay £6 parking then taxis on top. I would never stay here again! Pay the extra and stay on the barbican with a lovely breakfast added in.

Parking is across the road in a private car park, £12 for 24 hours, luckily it's a private car park so I didn't pay and display and just binned the "parking charge notice" I found on my car the next morning Local takeaway was horrendous Probably best to stay in an out of town one unless its location is extremely... I stayed at the hotel with my family as we were going to my brothers passing out parade, The hotel room was very basic, but was generally clean, the lampshade was broken and the light at the bed swung round if it wasn't propped up. The sofa bed wasnt made up, and there were only 3 pillows and 1 towel... More

Anyone expecting the height of luxury can't expect to get it in return for £24 a night for a family room, and if they do, they are deluded. You get what you pay for here. My friends and I were in Plymouth for a wedding and stayed for two nights, taking three family rooms between the 8 of us, each... More

This Travelodge clearly has been subjected to a lot of wear over the past few years. The rooms are not cleaned that well, nothing dirty but dust on lap fittings etc seemed to be a problem. I don't understand why basic cleaning isn't checked by management, as its such a simple let down for a hotel which needs to make... More
