Room , service, restaurant, spa, all excellent but the very best were all the members .of staff who went the extra mile to make our stay most enjoyable. We must mention our room maid who found my mothers diamond ring and return it to her on our return.

I know Torquay is the home of Basil Fawlty but please, do the people who run these hotels never visit themselves. From the moment I arrived things were Fawltyesque. We paid £99 for one nights stay with a 3 course meal a bottle of wine and breakfast and it was well worth it. The food was lovely the room was very classic with a fantastic ocean view and the location to Torquay city centre is 5 minutes walk. would definitley stay here again.
