Hi to the Gibbons family. Thank you so much for your kind feedback. It is very important to us that our guests are happy with their stay. It was so good that the weather was kind for you to attend the wedding on Saturday. Your children are a joy and credit to you both. Hope to see you in the... More

Its like Marmite. You'll either love it or hate it. The owners are also like Marmite. You will either love em or hate em. Just a generally odd experience staying here. Nice room but just odd place. It was almost comical. Faulty Towers?!?

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for a few days in the summer and were greeted by polite staff who showed us to our room. The room was very dated with a lot of 70's style decor. Nevertheless the room was well equiped with tea-making facilities and working tv. It was also very clean to our satisfaction. The breakfast in... More

After my check in I went to the room & when trying to open the door, the key broke (because I turned over the key before it was completely introduced into the door lock), in other words, it was my fault the KEY WAS BROKEN. The hotel owner I had to pay £7 for the replacement key (which I agreed... More

Myself and my partner stayed here as part of an anniversary break to bournemouth. Was very pleased with the price first of all, and it was absolutely fantastic value for money. Welcome was very warm, had a nice chat about the beach and felt very at home. Our room was immaculate, very light and airy. Bed was soooo comfortable, the... More

From our arrival until we left Brian and Wendy could not do enough for us. Their welcome is warm, friendly and informative. The room was well proportioned, v comfy bed, plenty of storage space. Sink is in room itself with a separate shower/toliet room. Breakfast is a thing of beauty - kippers, salmon and scrambled egg, full English etc. All... More

Stayed at the charlesworth for two nights and couldn't fault a thing! Brian and Wendy, the owners were very pleasant and polite. Didn't try the breakfast but it smelt fantastic! The room was perfect and very clean, what more could you ask for! Great location to beach and town centre. I would definitely stay again!!

The couple came to breakfast with a laptop and mobile phone which was constantly ringing and it was disturbing our other guests who have the right to enjoy a peaceful breakfast. I spoke with him about this (i.e. - switch off the phone or take his calls elsewhere) and he took offence by this. Hence this bad review. If that... More
