We stayed one night at this very friendly B&B. Our room was large, light and airy, thoughtfully decorated with nice little touches like a bowl of sweets, books and a seaside theme. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean and the breakfast was fabulous and plentiful. Our room wasn't ensuite but did have a private bathroom right next to it... More

I arrived here after a really bad car journey and was welcomed with a cup of tea and biscuits - it doesn't sound like much but it revived me and made me feel good right from the start. As other guests have said, the breakfasts are second to none I have experienced in a gust house - a normal person... More

Stayed her just the one night the best night sleep in a fortniights holiday. We were on our way back home from visiting Cornwall needed a place to stay overnight as we were going to Monkey World the next day. The room was really spacious with all the tea coffee making facilities and the kingsize bed was really comfortable. Breakfast... More

I cannot add much more than the previous reviewers, only that we had a pleasant four nights there and will certainly go again next time we are in Dorset. I put on a few pounds with the breakfasts. Wifi works well and there are plenty of books to read before you turn in, all hardback and new.

I can only reiterate the previous reviews. It is a lovely b&b, Pat cannot do enough to help, offering tea and cake and anything to make your stay more comfortable and enjoyable. The house itself is lovely, with lots of small decorative touches and comfortable furniture, it feels very homely whilst also being up to the cleanliness standard you'd expect... More

Chris and Pat are natural hosts - making us feel very welcome each time we stay. We enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing break last weekend, with a cup of tea and slice of cake on arrival, and even a box of maltesers (other chocolate is available) for our young son, placed on his bed! The breakfasts were wholesome, delicious and filling... More

Stayed for two nights, very clean and tidy. Good location for exploring surrounding area, Dorchester. Mainline railway station five minutes away by car. Very quiet night's sleep, excellent breakfast. Nothing is to much trouble for owner's, made to feel very welcome, facilities in room excellent. No toilet in bedroom, share with others but we did not find this a problem... More
