My friend and I decided to take a last minute trip to Brighton so had to scout out a hotel.. Unfortunately for us, we stumbled across this one. I have never been as shocked as I was when I got in to the "bedroom". First of all the front door barely locked, the carpet was peeling up and was full... More

The room was cheap but the room we stayed in was very dated with ripped curtains barely covering the windows, the sheets were not very clean and the noise at night was unbearable. If i had seen this hotel was on here when we stayed there is no way i would have parted with my money and stayed there. This... More

Despite the banner outside claiming the price for a room was £40 We had to part with £60 for a double room. It was raining and late so we reluctantly accepted. The decor seemed as if unchanged since 1970's and the garish polyester bedsheets looked like they were made from Gary Glitters old cape. They were filthy too. The mattress... More

The most horrific excuse for a hotel I have ever seen or encountered! Myself and my girlfriend were met with three different "managers" at the reception, none of which had a clue what was going on and if there were any rooms available. Given the tour of their last available room (in which the main light was broken so we... More

when we arrived the manager couldnt find our booking and tried charging us too much, It stunk of whiskey and was filthy, we were then sent upstairs to look for the chambermaid that had keys which i thought was terrible service. When we finally got into our room it was discusting, it smelt and the windows were jammed open, we... More

The hotel was undergoing refurbishment and I was made aware of that when booking the room. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly and advised me of some good attractions to visit in Brighton. I was given one of the recently refurbished rooms and as a member of the building trade, I was extremely impressed with the standard of work.

Very dirty and scummy, cracked windows, very rude hotel "manager", only interested in taking your money and conning you into sleeping in this hellhole! I've backpacked around the world, including 3rd world countries, and this hotel is worse than many hostels in India! Avoid, avoid, avoid!

I knew this place wasn't going to be nice as it's appearance was awful, but I was on a very strict budget, and it was very close to where I needed to be. I was checked in by a mean elder lady. I asked if there was a phone, or internet, NO to both. I took it anyway as everywhere... More
