I've stayed here a few times now but sadly this is the last. The outside was filthy , I waited ages to get served and when I finally did, I did request a higher floor, the receptionist behaved like I'd killed her cat. Corridors and lifts were dirty and when I got to my room I couldn't work out if... More

The is on a bus route into Brighton about two miles from the centre. (bus 5 & 5a). It was easy to find and to book into. The car park is in front of the hotel and costs an extra £5 per day. The room on the 6th floor was large and well equipped with a quick lift to all... More

This hotel is very tired and needs some serious money to put it right. Rooms are big, but very basic. I know it is a budget hotel, but one pillow each, one towel to share, one tiny soap and no shampoo is pushing it a bit. Curtains hanging off rail and walls need painting. Because it is a budget hotel... More

Arrived at the Travelodge and was met at reception by a very helpful staff member, We were a little concerned when we checked in as the reception area and bar was full of groups of men and women on stag and hen nights, with the obligatory band of die hard smokers blocking the main entrance. The receptionist had thoughtfully put... More

We had to spend two nights in Brighton at short notice, so went for the easy option. It served as a base, but unlike the Manchester Airport Travelodge, our rom was clean, but shabby, the whole building was begging to show its age. It does what it says on the box, but don't have too high expectations.

The hotel decor is very tired and in serious need of a refurbishment. Holes in walls have been badly filled, the seal around the base of the shower was coming away. Several hooks were missing from the curtains, so they did not close properly. There was only 1 chair in my double room. On the up side, the staff were... More

I am always a big believer in you judge places for what they are. If you pay Travelodge prices don't expect Four Seasons quality - but the truth is even for TL this was poor. I am normally a fan of the chain - they are normally cheap, cheerful, basic, but clean and tidy. This is looking really tired -... More

This is fine if you know what to expect for your money. furnishings, fittings, bedding etc are all very basic, but can be dirty or stained! we complained and got clean towels. The room was big & overlooked the park. The bathroom was clean. This hotel is used by 'party groups' at weekends, so be prepared for noise etc. The... More

I've stayed in a couple of travelodges in the last year and have noticed the standards have really gone downhill. They are cheaper than premierinn in Brighton but I'd much rather go there. The duvet was so thin, I was freezing, the heating bearly worked and we were only given 1 set of towels despite them knowing 3 of us... More
