Booked Gullivers on the morning of arrival on their own web booking for, stating that I would be there at 2pm (they have an option on the form to put your estimated time of arrival). Managed to park the car nearby, it was a cold damp day, but the car had been nice and warm so walked to the hotel... More

Stayed two nights at this average B&B situated near the pier. Nice full english breakfest with cereals served in the basement. The room was small and the bathroom had a sloppy carpet. The beds were too soft with think blankets which forced us to sleep with open windows. There were noisy sewer pipes just outside the window, thank god for... More

Dear Guest, I was disappointed to read your review of the room you stayed in. As an older Georgian Building all our rooms are of differing size and style, but we do endeavour to ensure all rooms are to the highest standards. It appears this was not the case on this occasion for which I apologise and our Management team... More

My daughter and I researched this hotel on Trip Advisor and even though we thought it expensive.....£214.50 for a twin room with breakfast for 2 nights ( bearing in mind that it was off- season), the reviews were so good we thought we would treat ourselves. When we arrived we were told that we were staying in the sister hotel... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your review and I am sorry you did not find the accommodation to your satisfaction. We do own and operate both the New Steine & Gulliver's Hotels, located just next door to each other, and this should have been explained on arrival. The New Steine Hotel is a 5* Highly Commended property by the AA... More

My wife and I stayed for the week while visiting Brighton. We booked online well in advance of our trip and got an excellent deal which included breakfast. Hotel is in a great location and handy for all the town has to offer. Small and friendly hotel and the staff are very attentive and eager to help. Room decor was... More

I recently stayed with a friend of mine for a conference and booked via late deals so had the room including breakfast for £65 as it was weekdays. We arrived very late but were bowled over by our welcome. The hotel was nice and warm and although our room was right at the top, it was spotlessly clean with the... More

We thought the hotel would be pretty quiet as it is down a side street but it isnt as our room backed on... More

Was shown to our room which was nicely decorated and clean. Shower was quite small and a bit dark due to the recessed lighting and dark colored tiles. It's advertised as free wifi but I couldnt get wifi during my whole stay which was very frustrating. Breakfast was ok nothing special. Best bit is the location as it's just a... More

Dear Guest, I read with dismay about the issue you had with the Wi-Fi and the beds - It is not clear from your review whether you spoke to a management or front desk team or not, as I am sure they would have tried to resolve these issues for you. The wireless is provided throughout the Hotel and has... More

We spent the weekend at this hotel during Brighton Pride. Check in was terrific (thanks Tom) and included an information packet and map of Brighton. Breakfast was excellent including continental and full English options. Service was excellent. The room was a wee bit small but clean with all the amenities including free Wifi. Location is great close to gay Kemptown... More

Warm welcome, pleased with our deluxe sea view room, very comfortable, once inside the shower extremely dark, needs a light in the ceiling (room 305) nowhere to put your shower gel, shampoo, conditioner except the floor, expected more from a deluxe room. breakfast sourced locally tasty but slightly over cooked, ditch the tin mushrooms too improve, better the 2nd day.... Such a fantastic little hotel. Great service, location, cleanliness, food, rooms. The only downside, which is brighton's fault, is parking! This is a nightmare all over Brighton. Would definitely stay again as it was high quality but also on a small budget. Thanks. More
