We had a lovely night's stay at this cute little hotel. Sean was really helpful from the day we booked onwards and while the room was small it was perfect for us. Well decorated and light and bright we couldn't have asked for more. Thank you so much guys! Olivia More

I was upgraded when I arrived at no extra charge, the host was lovely, very helpful and friendly. Clean room, White Company products, reasonable rates and good breakfast. Simple and just what I wanted for a brief stop solo trip. More

Was met on time and given a warm welcome. Stayed in a very nice small double which was incredibly clean, warm and well presented and appointed. Great nights sleep on a very comfy, high quality bed. Superb breakfast which was offered at an earlier time to suit me. Great quality breakfast with lovely service. Breakfast room was immaculate as is... More

A small prettily decorated hotel close to sea front and the eclectic charms of Kemp Town Village.. A warm and welcoming atmosphere run by a very pleasant husband & wife team. Cosy rooms and a superlative breakfast. Perfect for a weekend seaside break.. even in Winter. TVs, free Internet access and lovely crisp white sheets. I will definitely be going... More

Had high expectations after reading previous reviews, but to be honest we felt quite disappointed with our weekend break in December. We were anticpating a 'boutique' style B&B with a friendly attentive service. In fact, what we experienced was a very 'hand off' approach to hosptitality - no communication with the owners (was it the cook in the kitchen?) apart... More

We stayed for 11 nights at the White House while visiting my daughter in Brighton. Our room, #5, was comfortable and spacious, with a large sunny window and view of the water. The staff was very friendly and each went out of their way to make us feel at home. As two women traveling in a foreign land, we felt... More

We were lucky enough to have an upgrade so for us it was great value. It is'nt cheap but not much in Brighton is these days. It is a great place though, very clean, very friendly staff and in the heart of Kemptown for those that like it!! The breakfast was great too, a good choice on offer and quality... More

My girlfriend and I booked to stay at the White House for the second time (previous visit 2009) and once again were over the moon with our experience. We originally booked a normal double room but Sean (the owner) upgraded us to a luxury room. The room was lovely with great decor, immaculately clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.... More

My wife and I decided to revisit Brighton having lived there nearly 40 years ago. We decided on The White House because of its convenient location in Kemp Town and the amazing 3 nights for the price of 2 offer on now. We were met by Sean, the proprietor and immediately he provided us with all the information we required regarding... More

Having never been to Brighton but always heard good things, my brother in law and I took a trip down for the weekend. I picked the White House through searching hotels on the web and liked the look of it although they usually do show their best side. Upon arrival we were met by Sean who pulled out a map,... More
