This was our second stay at Whitburn Lodge, last year we stayed in the 'attic room' which was delightful although the stairs did prove a bit too much for my husband! This year we stayed in Room 1 and we loved it. We would not stay anwhere else in Brighton as it is so clean, comfortable and Louise and Phil... More

In mid-October we spent three very pleasant nights at Whitburn Lodge. We stayed in Room 1, their largest room. The room was not as large as their website photograph would suggest, but perfectly adequate for our needs. The room and en-suite were both spotlessly clean and adequately stocked in terms of toiletries and hospitality tray – the bed was very... More

I was looking for a cosy b&b with a few rooms to rent for my wedding weekend. After some research, I found the Whitburn Lodge. When I visited it I thought that it would be the perfect place for my family and friends. The experience was better than expected. Phil the owner was the perfect host, making all of us... More

A very charming little B&B situated right in the heart of Brighton. We were greeted on our arrival by Louise, the owner. She showed us to our room and was offered fresh tea or coffee. After a little chat she realised it was our first visit to Brighton. She then produced a map and recommended a number of good restaurants... More

We booked this B&B for a weekend away after reading the great reviews on this website. Whitburn Lodge lived up to expectation! Louise and Phil are fantastic hosts and couldn't do enough to help - we were really grateful for local tips and knowledge about the area. More

We source all our accomodation via Trip advisor when we go away. We were welcomed as soon as we arrived and received recommendations as to what we could do for the day and were we could eat. Rooms very clean and well presented. Breakfast was excellent and freshly prepared. Only downside for us was that the room was at the... More

This was our second visit to Whitburn Lodge & it was just as good if not better than we remembered. Louise was extremely helpful & has excellent local knowledge. The available parking is a big plus for Brighton. Once there we didn't need to use the car until we left as Whitburn Lodge is so close to central Brighton. Brilliant... More

We booked this B&B for a bank holiday short break after reading all the reviews on Tripadvisor. The owners certainly live up to their billing as a very nice couple - friendly and very helpful without being overbearing, and the location is certainly very convenient - you won't need a car. We were also very impressed by the breakfasts -... More

I recently returned to Brighton on business and was luckily enough to stay with Louise & Phil again at Whitburn Lodge. I know I would receive their usual high standard of service but was extremely surprised to find that they had raised the quality bar once again. The breakfast selection and menu was unbelievable, the room perfect, wi-fi internet speed... More

Stayed here for a girlie weekend to celebrate my 40th birthday at the beginning of July and I couldn't have asked for better!! The hotel was a lovely as the website advertised, Phil and Lousie were perfect hosts and made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and that continued for the whole weekend. They made us feel like... More
