Reviews Summary
This summary was created by AI, based on recent reviews.
Powered by AI
Travelodge Hastings is praised for its cleanliness and prime location for exploring the town, despite its hilltop position posing a challenge for some visitors. The hotel's atmosphere is considered basic, with a feel reminiscent of a 1970s hospital waiting room. While the rooms are acknowledged for their cleanliness and size, they are also critiqued for needing updates. Although guests appreciate the attentive staff, service can vary, with instances of unprofessionalism. Opinions on value are divided, balancing affordability against additional costs for amenities like parking and WiFi.

This budget hotel is exactly what you get. Budget room clean with very minimal contents. We seemed to have the room furthest away from the reception yet the hotel had an empty feeling only a few other people seen We asked for clean towels which we got yet no bed making service …. Strange Breakfast was plentiful but rather dried up by 8:40sm but everything you could want for eat all you like. It’s about 12 mins walk to the seafront but very steep down and up. Not for wheelchair users Hastings needs a bit of an overhaul but is good for a midweek visit.

Clean, tidy and comfortable rooms. Great location for travel. Welcoming staff. Needed to travel to Hastings for work so didn't want or need to spend a fortune on accommodation. This was just the job and would return with out hesitation if required.

Stayed for a lovely weekend with my wife and kids and can't fault anything the staff so kind a friendly the room and corridors well kept and clean we didn't eat any food but it did look nice we had a few drinks at the bar maybe a tad pricey but great selection. The main plus for me was I left my phone charger in the room and I phoned up and they had it and kept it safe for me thank you Hastings Travelodge

Great value for money, very nice rooms, friendly staff, will stay again. Nice and quiet It was just a stopover a few years ago, was travelling to see family at Christmas, I just needed somewhere to stay that did the job. I wish they provided some free biscuits to go with the coffee but I guess you can't have everything.

Great stay. Very reasonable price for our stay, The check in process was very quick. The room was clean and comfortable, the bed was nice as I slept like a baby. The staff were very friendly and help[ful giving advice on things to do in town and the local area. If I return to hastings I would stay here again.

Very pleasant stay, the room was immaculate, very comfortable bed with comfy pillows. The location was excellent with a short walk to the town centre where we found many shops and restaurants. Breakfast was very nice, a good selection of continental and a fry up, just what the doctor ordered.

I was dubious about booking this as it had quite a few negative reviews but I was pleasantly surprised the bed was super comfy and the room was spotless! The bar could do with a face lift but the food and selection of drinks were very good. All in all a great stay would be happy to stay again

Not a bad place to stay, but don’t expect the lavish accommodation. Looking tired and in need of a face lift and the rooms need updating as well. The staff were friendly enough and did answer our questions and always polite when seeing them, it’s more the place and the old rooms and musty smell, that’s a put off.
