This really is a lovely little B&B. It is situated in the old town of Hastings and is perfectly positioned to explore all the antique/second hand stores. It is a home from home and Tina & Paul are very friendly and helpful. There is no car park attached to the B&B, however there is one just over the road, but... More

This is the second one-night stay we have had at Lavender & Lace. Tina and Paul are wonderful hosts and their love of their B&B shines through. Our room was beautiful and so cosy, with every little detail thought through, from lovely linen and towels, books and magazines, tea, coffee, biscuits and water and nice bath and shampoo accessories. The... More

Lovely little cottage tucked away in Old Town, Hastings. The welcome from Tina was very warm and we felt at home straight away. Fantastic location, wonderful breakfasts, clean and comfortable beds and rooms and lots of recommendations on what to see and where to dine. Excellent value for money. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

Such a lovely place - so comfortable, clean and welcoming. It had everything we needed in terms of facilities. The place has lots of charm and the owners were more than helpful with local information. The breakfast was top class - they catered for vegetarians and the home made jams and yogurt were delicious! I had an amazing scrambled eggs... More

We stayed here for one night very recently, and have had the most wonderful experience. Tina replied to our enquiry email immediately, and was so professional amd friendly. The B&B is a stunning Tudor building which has been lovingly and respectfully decorated, and sits snuggly in the old town; perfect for exploring. Our room was very clean, cosy and full... More

Very welcoming, Tina and Paul went out of their way to be accommodating (even storing our dirty wet bicycles). We stayed in a newly decorated suited which was small but contained everything we needed. Breakfast was lovely and included homemade jams and our first homemade yogurt. The place was very well stocked up with books, magazines and games, some of... More

Stayed here for one evening only, which felt too short in the end. The B&B was perfect! We were made to feel very welcome and comfortable without any fuss. Our room was clean, comfortable and everything you could need was thought of. The Edwardian charm of the B&B is felt throughout, with its low ceilings and black painted beams. Breakfast... More

arrived lunch time and we were pleased we could get in the room early! We were made to feel so welcome right away. Although getting the suitcase upstairs was a trial - well worth it when we were shown our double en-suite room. The bed was so comfy, didn't want to get up in the mornings! Absolutely perfectly clean with... More

After hours trawling the Web I cam across this gem! Tina was so helpful when I rang to see if there was space and this warm concern continued throughout our stay. We arrived with high expectations and were not disappointed. From the moment I had to bend to enter the house I knew it was going to be an experience. We... More
