When we arrived in our room we found that there were two lovely cup cakes to celebrate my birthday. So thoughtful & totally unexpected. Breakfast a delight every day. Hosts very helpful about local excursions etc. Simon even hosed my car off because of the seagull mess. What a star!

Booked last minute for a Saturday night.Would loved to have stayed longer as it's a wonderful B&B with very amenable hosts. Garden looked ideal for an afternoon with a book. Room and breakfast top notch with a large choice, including a 'special'. . Mental note....book longer next time!.

We had a lovely stay with Tracey and Simon for our first wedding anniversary. We had the suite which was gorgeous. The cupcakes left in our room were very thoughtful and all of Tracey's cooking was superb. We were made to feel very welcome from the minute we arrived. We enjoyed using their bikes and exploring the nature reserve.

The location is ideal if you want to go onto the Rye Harbour Reserve, the Room was great (Harbour suite), Food excellent, charming and helpful hosts- really can not say a lot more except looking forward to going back, and in this case less is more in terms of the review but there is a 200 word minimum

We only stayed for a night, but honestly, you only have to be there for five minutes to know that this place ticks all the right boxes. For a start, the house and gardens are beautiful, and are in a good location, especially if you're walking. We were given such a warm welcome (it was my birthday, Tracey and Simon... More

Sometimes we are fortunate when a place meets our expectations, it is rare when a place exceeds them. If you love to immerse yourself in Nature, love history, all the comforts of home and that includes scrumptious home cooking then look no further, The Old Vicarage has it all. Out hosts Simon and Tracey were laid back, friendly and have... More

We stayed at The Old Vicarage in April '12 and have just stayed there again. The standard of cleanliness and home comforts had not only been maintained but was even better. This time we stayed in the Harbour Suite which is very spacious and luxurious with a separate dressing room and large ensuite bathroom (you could easily stay for a... More

My boyfriend and I wanted a pieceful weekend away from the big smoke and this place was perfect! Although only a flying visit, Tracey and Simon made our stay extremely enjoyable. We stayed in The Harbour Suite. The room was clean, nicely decorated and extremely comfortable. They were so welcoming and even made us some homemade cheese straws and cupcakes... More

Most wonderful B&B with lovely hosts Simon and Tracey, who shared tips and anecdotes about the place and area. Breakfast was top quality, including scrumptious homemade muffins, free-range eggs and delicious local sausages. The en suite room was very comfortable, clean, tastefully decorated and provided a lovely view on the seafront. We thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful area. Will definitely be... More

We have just spent a wonderfully peaceful and extremely enjoyable weekend at the Old Vicarage in Rye Harbour. We were very lucky with the weather and had a very enjoyable long walk on Saturday and a look around Rye Town on Sunday. Finished our weekend stay feeling extremely relaxed. We can recommend the Harbour Suite which is very well appointed.... More
