After trying a couple of places nearby for lunch that couldn’t accommodate us because we hadn’t booked, we came across this little gem! We ordered Crab sandwiches and few other bits and it was lovely! Upon leaving the owner even told us the history of the building and surrounding areas.. wouldn’t hesitate to come here again.

A fantastic stay at the Old Borough Arms for birthday celebrations. We had two twin rooms and the Tilling suite which was perfect, the l living room in the suite was big enough for the 9 of us and the bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was great, lots of choice and was delicious. Sarah and Ian couldn’t do enough for us, the staff really make the stay even more enjoyable. Thank you so much for having us, we will certainly be retuning

This is a guest house but as good as a hotel. The rooms were really comfortable including the bed. Spotlessly clean and the staff were lovely nothing was too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious, we had lunch as well which was equally as good. I would definitely recommend this accommodation if staying in the area as its central to the town and the Quay.

Fantastic friendly venue in downtown Rye. The staff were phenomenally helpful even dropped our bags off for us in the pub we were in because it was pouring down. Great value and comfy rooms. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. Highly recommended. Thank you.

We didn’t stay at the B&B but will do next visit to Rye We had ice cream in the little kiosk downstairs served by Maisie. As we sat outside enjoying our ice creams we met a really lovely friendly lady called Kerry An elderly man passed by he looked exhausted Kerry had a handful of items and she just dropped the lot and ran and got him a chair She was extremely helpful to him He eventually stood got his breath asked us to thank her and left So nice to see nice people still exist Well done Kerry

Booked for a small family party (20 people) with catering. Sarah was so friendly and did a fantastic cream tea spread and birthday cake. The kids even enjoyed icecream from the cafe below. There was full bar service and guest rooms are available. There is nothing quite like sitting out on the veranda enjoying the British sunshine with friends and family in this reflexed seaside setting.
