My wife and I spent just one night at this B&B but wish it had been longer. The room was not large but was perfectly adequate, very clean, well-equipped and comfortable. The bathroom was good and the shower worked well. The breakfast was excellent and the owner was extremely helpful in directing to us to good eating places and to... More

We went to Rye to attend a family wedding and we booked rooms here because we liked the look of the place. From start to finish the stay was excellent. The booking was simple, the website is really good, the owner welcomed us and was helpful in directing us to where the wedding was taking place, marking other local sights... More

My husband and I just stayed in the Windmill for a few nights for my birthday. I absolutely loved the character of the room. It has been recently updated and housekeeping kept it nice and tidy for our stay. The breakfast was also really great! The B&B is very close to the town and also to the train tracks. Even... More

We stayed here for a night over easter in the windmill suite and can honestly say it's probably the best place we've stayed in the UK. Forget posh hotels, the windmill suite is absolutely incredible and real value for money by contrast. The room itself is spectacular and the views even more so. Jill, the owner is lovely and couldnt... More

A friend and I stayed one night here and were both very impressed with the B&B. True, it isn't crystal clear from the website that there are only 2 rooms in the windmill itself, but our rooms in the annex adjoining the windmill were still nicely decorated, warm and very comfortable. The proprietor was very welcoming and accommodating regarding parking/arrival... More

The Rye Windmill is amazing! just fantastic, the attention to detail from start to finish was second to none. The accomadation is clean, beautifully decorated and the food well cooked and beautifully presented. It is well situated over looking the river Tillingham and close to all of Rye's oldy worldly streets and market.

This is a lovely b&b with charm and atmosphere. Spotless and simple in presentation. Lovely hosts who have lots of local knowledge to share. Offers a decent standard breakfast, although for me not as much choice as I would like. The standard double that we stayed in was compact and I felt the walls were quite thin. However a good... More

We stayed three nights in the Windmill B & B and were very satisfied with the experience. We had room 9 which had views over the river and some parkland. The accommodation was modern and clean, the beds comfortable and the linen of good quality. There was a comprehensive choice of tea and coffee etc and bottled water was provided... More
