“Ideal setting for a quiet getaway.”

I would agree with LMS174's comments in the main. We were in room 5 and everything creaked- mainly the floor and the bed. “Quiet location ideal for chilling out or exploring Cotswold area”

Enjoyed a 2 night break through BuyAGift and worth every penny. Staff very pleasant, room across the courtyard from the Inn was very quiet, good ensuite shower/toilet. Fantastic location,beautiful countryside and delightful inn. The New Inn is not an hotel, it is an inn with rooms. The room we had could do with a bit of freshening up and the the bathroom needed maintenance. The staff were young and inexperienced, not their fault, they were friendly and helpful but a bit more training would be of benefit... More

Ratings and Reviews Share your experiences! Gave the New Inn five stars last October but although the same pros( good food,terrific breakfast,friendly if slightly haphazard service) was still there the ageing carpets and the health and safety defying flooring in the restaurant would have prompted one star's removal.Adding a 10% service charge to the restaurant bill then stating that it was "optional"... “Lovely, peaceful and relaxing stay :-)”

We enjoyed a relaxing stay in a dog friendly room; you would never know a dog had ever been there it was very clean and fresh. The bar has a very relaxed atmosphere with a log fire :-) Staff were all very helpful and friendly.

“Very Pleasant stay”

In our quest to find good pubs with accommodation this fits the bill. Nice to be able to have a drink in a proper pub and also have the choice of food. Our room was comfortable and charming and a nice view over the fields, made even better because it was snowing and made a lovely scene. Nice breakfast.

My partner and i were staying in nearby Bibury and decided to drive the 2 miles to the New Inn had dinner here on the 28th feb 2013 ,staff are great the inn is great the food is great !!!! will be returning !!
