Beautiful building with very welcoming hosts. On arrival we were instantly offered a lovely pot of tea and some toasted fruit loaf. Lovely stuff! My room was a cosy double with en suite shower room. Tastefully decorated and clean, the bed was comfy and the shower was warm. Lovely view of the wonderful buildings opposite and down the road. I... More

As a nervous driver in snow bound conditions, I took a decision to stay in Painswick rather than attempt to get home. At short notice, I was given a lovely cosy room that had everything I needed. As part of the tea/coffee making facilities, I had proper milk (not the nasty stuff in little cartons. Iris even put a hot... More

We stayed two nights when walking the Cotswold Way. Old Cotswold townhouse. We had dinner in the Falcon Inn, good food but you need to reserve a table, and enjoyed roast beef for Sunday lunch at the Woolpack at Slad, a very good local pub.

Easy to find, centrally located and with an appropriately understated sign outside. I was welcomed by Mr McCormick into a large hallway with hooks for wet clothes and space for muddy boots. I was offered a cup of tea which turned into a pot with two mugfuls. The room was clean, light and airy with a welcoming vase of sweet... More

We went down to Painswick for a wedding and took all three rooms in this B&B. The couple were amazing and looked after us very well. The breakfast was delicious - but best of all was Rolo the dog. How I miss him now! Highly recommend.

The owners of this delightful B&B, Greg and Iris, make you feel so welcome that you feel at home right away. Do not forget to say hello to the keeper of this abode: Rollo; when he wags his tail (while being caressed) the spine moves from side to side. Breakfast is a delight, the room and bathroom very clean and... More

Greg and Iris were impeccable hosts. The intial welcome was warm and friendly and the room I stayed in was very comfortable. The cooked breakfasts were of superb quality. I am looking forward to staying again in April. There are plenty of books and for those of you who love reading.
