Called in for a quick lunch with friends. It is a beautiful old coaching inn type building with high ceilings. The walls are in local stone. Featured a good selection of beers and a wide menu. The staff were very friendly and just made an average lunch very enjoyable.

We did not stay at the hotel, but we did eat there. This well-located gastro-pub is in the heart of the charming little Cotswolds town of Tetbury. We ate in the snug pub area rather than in the restaurant, but the menu was varied and the food arrived quickly and was tasty. But the big draw here in this typically... More

We loved the room, very fresh and clean, new television, lovely jacuzzi, great choice of tea and coffee in the room and a lovely bar and restaurant downstairs. Difficult to find somewhere as good for the price!

Quite charming, atleast from an outsider's perspective. The resident dog added to the character of the place. Pub food at dinner was ok but the breakfast was good - lots of variety and nice service. No elevator so was a little challenging to carry bags up and down the stairs but overall a very pleasant stay. The room was small... More

What a great place! We popped here for a spot of lunch & enjoyed lovely food & v friendly service. The lady recommended staying next time we're in the area and I think we probably will. Recommend the mussels, they were gorgeous!

We couldn't get a room but stayed instead along Silver St. at York House....an excellent place to stay. The owner suggested that the Snooty Fox was a good place to go for a meal. It was. The food was excellent. George the Great Dane joined us, sniffed a little but didn't make a nuisance of himself. The staff were friendly... More

Having just stayed in the "Dulverton" Room at the Snooty Fox, I was so sad to see how it looked from our visit 20 years ago, in fact the room we stayed in hadn't actually changed at all! Literally! The bedding was poly-cotton, the bed old and cheap and the duvet bonded fibre. The carpet grubby and the room needs... More

We stayed at the Snooty Fox because we were visiting Highgrove House home of HRH Prince Charles, and Tetbury village is only about a mile away, this being a birthday gift. We were shown what at first seemed a very nice room called the Cotswold room. I then found this room had only frosted windows that wouldn't open. This I... More
