This was a very average stay at a very average hotel. We booked a long weekend to coincide with visiting our son at university and thought that by booking into a Hilton, it would be an exceptional experience. However this was not the case. Overall the stay was clean and comfortable, but nothing special....which was disappointing.

nice food/restaurant but poor quality room with lots of bathroom problems and needs updating. worth going there for dinner/food as that was really top drawer and the chef came out to talk to us about our meal which was a nice touch. breakfast was also nice.

A clean hotel with well presented rooms in a quite location. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the food at both breakfast & dinner was delicious. We stayed 2 nights through a TravelZoo offer, which was great value for money.

The service and tha staff was good, we had to have room service as they were unable to fit us in the dinning room untill 21.30 which with children was far too late. How ever the food was very good. The rooms however aren pretty basic and offer little more than a travel lodge. Rooms are in need of modernisation.
