After being greeted by a very friendly receptionist we spent a very comfortable night here. Two children, 10 and 12 had very comfortable mattresses on the floor and we (grandparents) had a very comfortable bed with lovely fluffy pillows, but still there was room to move between the beds. Overnight stop on the 10th Feb. Booked through Superbreak for the bargain price of £20 for a family room! The room was clean and had plenty of room for the four of us, bed was a bit soft and the bathroom could do with a bit of TLC but it was fine for a stopover. The free wifi worked well... More

Only stayed one night while traveling to South West, basic room but was clean, only 3 sockets, one had tv plugged in, another had kettle plugged in and hair dryer, need more sockets. Got there quite late about !!pm but still very courteously welcomed by the receptionist. Could have checked in 24 hours so no pressure to get there. Room very large, lovely and warm; comfortable bed and very clean. Very quiet and a good nights sleep. Nice breakfast in Costa at the adjacent services. Stayed at this hotel on its opening night ( it was stil a premier inn)about 12 years ago when it was all shiny and new. Now itS getting very worn and tatty. Bedroom carpets and bathrooms very stained and worn, curtainrail hanging off wall. Needs a refit badly.
