Went here for birthday and was given a complimentary upgrade when we arrived, which was a lovely surprise. The room was beautiful and the stay very comfortable. The breakfast was also very nice, lots of choice.

We stayed here for the night and went to the stunningly good Michael Caines restaurant. Service in the hotel was excellent. The room was clean and functional but perhaps just a little disappointing for the price. We recently stayed at this hotel and were given Room 103 right next the the lift shaft. The noise was terrible and it was almost impossible to sleep until the early hours, well, after everyone had arrived safely back at the hotel and the lift was then quiet !!!
