Stayed here for one night. Excellent accommodation. Within walking distance of Canterbury, able to park car in guest house car park. Breakfast was really good. Hosts are very helpful.

This is a wonderful place to stay. What makes the difference is that in a city like Canterbury, where parking is difficult, there is free off street parking. I stayed 4 nights at Harriet House and I would highly recommend it. Very clean and tidy. I can't fault it at all. There is ample parking. The breakfasts are excellent. We spent two nights and we enjoyed the very friendly service and wonderful breakfasts. The room was very clean and comfortable. Harriet House is a nice short walk to the center of town. We live in the States and we found the place via their website. We found their directions accurate. If we return to Canterbury we will return here.

Just spent two nights at Harriet House and couldn't fault it. Thank you for your kind review. All our beds are good quality hotel beds and have recently been renewed along with all of the bedroom furniture. Our breakfast room was also redecorated earlier this year. Guide books are essential for planning trips but we like to suggest local places and attractions that we enjoy too. Always happy to help !!

Great, helpful service from the owners. The house is nicely refurbished. The bathroom was a bit small, but not unusual for this type of B & B. It was clean and fresh. The location is out of the way of tourists, but not an inconvenient walk to the cathedral and other spots in the city centre. Thanks!

We are glad that you enjoyed your stay with us. We are located around a short ten minute walk away from the city centre. There is also a lovely riverside walk into town. Buses also run past Harriet House regularly.
