We stayed for one night before catching a morning tunnel crossing to France, and found the staff very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and tidy but we found that because of traffic noise all night we could not have the window open. A good hotel with great access tyo both the ferry and tunnel routes.

Our room was an upgraded double and of a reasonable size but not really big enough to be considered an upgrade in my opinion. That said, the standard room our friends were in was tiny.
