We stayed at Longfield Guest House for four nights while visiting family in Dover. We were given a warm welcome on our arrival. Our room was comfortable and cleaned daily, nothing was to much trouble for them. Highly recommended will be staying again.

Needed a room for the night - originally for 5 which they were happy to accommodate despite not actually having a room for 5 - but which ended as only 3 of us - and we were offered a reduction accordingly without having to ask! Room was spacious enough in spite of having three beds in it - beds were... More

Three adults shared a family room although a little cramped it was adequate, clean and tidy, ensuite was ok. Breakfast is extra but value for money.

We stayed at Longfield while travelling around England. We booked after viewing on a website and reading reviews. If you are after 5 star then you won't get it but for the price we paid it was more than sufficient. The breakfast was great and the bed comfortable. We stayed in the room which was a triple at the back... More

Good clean basic accommodation. I am using this guest house whilst I am working away from home staying four nights. A nice safe place to stay in a run down town spoilt by roads lorrys connected with the port.

Welcome is very warm, rooms spotless (if floral!). Breakfast good and filling. Only slight downside is the long walk into town but this is a minor detail. Everything else is superb - especially considering the highly reasonable price for bed and breakfast.

As an overnight stop ready to for an early morning ferry crossing, this bed & breakfast guest house was good value for money. The en-suite twin room (actually double bed + single bed) was clean and comfortable, though it would have been a bit cramped for a longer stay or triple occupancy. An early 7 a.m. cooked breakfast was available.... More

We booked a double room and a single room and paid £71 in total, so this B&B didn't break the bank. The trade-off, though, was certainly in quality, as you'd expect. On entering the B&B, it smelt slightly grubby, in the way that carpets do when they're begging for a good hot clean! The rooms were acceptably clean and basic,... More

I stayed 2 nights there with my parents. Convenient location with easy access by local transport and on foot, only 15 minutes walk from town centre and 5-10 minutes drive to Eastern Dock (to Calais, France) and Eastern Dock (where my cruise ship docked). Daily room cleaning, steady supply of hot water and big portion of English breakfast are the... More
