A Charming Guest House and it is quite close to the Dover Ferry. We stayed there on our way to France and liked it so much that we stayed there 3 weeks later when we arrived back in Dover. The owner is friendly and very, very helpful and he makes a great breakfast. We had the Georgian Room which was... More

A quaint little b and b. but so was the one in Faulty towers. The service man was quite rude when we checked in. It seemed we were putting him out by checking in at 830 pm. The rooms where chilly and the little space heaters caused quite a bit of noise but when you are heating a space slightly... More

In my recent trip, out of all the places I stayed in England this was definitely my favorite. Dover is a wonderful small city with lots of attractions and Hubert House is definitely the best place to stay. The staff is wonderful and the bar next door is amazing. Both the places had the best food around. More

I stayed here for the weekend to see the sea and the White cliffs. The location is perfect! 5 min walk to the Dover Castle, city center, 1 min from the beach, perfectly located if you want to see the cliffs. I stayed in a single room. It was small room but with everything I needed. I was able to... More

I have just returned from U.K. , where I spent a few days and one of my stoppage was this guesthouse. I spent 2 wonderful days in the georgian suite. My wife was thrilled to stay in such a luxurious room. I can't say how much we liked this place. More

I enjoyed a lot my one week staying in this very nice bistro. The room was very nice and clean, the breakfast was fulfilling and the service appropriate. It is really close to the Dover Castle and to a very nice park. I will sure check in again on my next visit to Dover. More

I can't say I agree with some of the negative posts on this B&B. I never felt like an inconvenience to the owner! We were 1 of 2 couples staying that particular night and the only couple having breakfast in the morning. The owner was kind and courteous to us, making us a beautiful breakfast with a full spread of... More

It is unfortunate because this b&b actually has very cute rooms and is clean. Unfortunately the staff run it like you are an inconvience to them. The owners are around at bizzarre times and you function on their schedule not yours. They kick you out when they need to go into town and they treat you like a huge inconvience.... More

I was surprised by the size of the room (N° 4), the only down size is that the stair case is very steep & narrow and not suitable for elderly persons. The food was good and well priced. The owner is I think Australian and a little bit strange but in a nice way. Next time I will reserve again... More

I booked this "hotel" as it was dog friendly. I was catching the 0730 ferry the next day to start a new life in Germany. When booking, I explained to the hotel staff that I had two bicycles with me, and that they were both valuable. The owner said that they had secure storage on site, and that I was... More
