Starting with good points... We paid extra for a superior room (room 21), the room was spacious with a lovely view, a king size bed, and a lovely large bathroom with separate large shower cubicle. Very clean, friendly staff, someone was always on hand. Eggs on the breakfast were perfect every time! we stayed for 4 nights, would definatly stay there again. shame the bar was part of a 'chain' but great nevertheless. House keeping was fab, couldnt have been cleaner and a big comfy bed. The noise from the bar didnt travel at all.... More

Great hotel right in the centre of town. The staff were really friendly and the live music really high quality and entertaining.The baththroom was sparkling clean and the beds really comfortable. The rooms are spacious and plenty of storage space for personal belongings. Cant wait to come back!

A decent place to stay. Newly refurbished room with good amenities. Reasonable value. Just need to be aware that you have to enter through the bar area, which probably should be amended. Stayed just for one night but found the room (31) very comfortable with excellent shower. The towels were amazingly thick and soft, by the way. Breakfast was very good, freshly cooked to order and served in pleasant surroundings.
