I was very surprised at standard of the hotel, it was clean, spacious and very good value for money. with a busy road nearby I thought it would be noisy but it wasn't, overall very quiet. The staff were helpful and friendly, breakfast was cooked to order, a nice full english with all the trimmings. Would stay here again.

Stayed in August 2012. Rooms a good size and clean enough. Could do with a little updating. Beds comfortable. Bar and eating area really need updating and some atmosphere injected. Food was fine but could be better.

Excellent food but room temperature was too hot as you didn't have much control of the central heating. Near to the activity I was attending so great location and very pleasant. Easy to get to via A66 and there are lots of secure & safe parking spaces for your car
